The Nature of the Source Material

The work consists of two primary versions: a complete manuscript (A) and a partial, revised typescript (B) created by the author's father. While version B provides a clearer and improved text, it remains unfinished, covering less than half of the original material.

Editorial Strategy

Due to significant overlaps and differences between the two versions, the editor chose to present version B as the primary text for its duration, supplementing it with notes regarding deviations from version A. Once the typescript of B concludes, the remainder of the work is provided using version A.

Documentation of Changes

The accompanying textual notes focus primarily on substantive differences between the versions. Minor linguistic improvements or stylistic changes made in version B that do not alter the fundamental meaning are excluded to keep the editorial notes selective and manageable.
