Summary
Highlights
Peppa and her family embark on a camping trip, with Daddy Pig proudly presenting the tent he used as a boy. Setting up the tent proves to be a challenge as Daddy Pig struggles with the pegs and realizes the tent is now too small for the whole family.
To prepare supper, Peppa, George, and Daddy Pig collect sticks for a campfire. Daddy Pig attempts to light the fire the 'old way' by rubbing two sticks together, eventually succeeding after some effort, so they can heat up tomato soup.
As they eat, the family listens to the sounds of nature, identifying crickets and an owl. Daddy Pig's rumbling tummy is also playfully dubbed a sound of nature. When it's time for bed, the family faces the challenge of fitting into the small tent.
The tent is indeed too small for everyone, leading Daddy Pig to volunteer to sleep outside under the stars. However, he finds sleeping outdoors less appealing than he imagined. The next morning, the others wake to find Daddy Pig missing.
Mummy Pig, Peppa, and George are concerned about Daddy Pig, thinking he might have been cold. They soon discover him snoring in the car, having opted for a more comfortable night's sleep. The episode concludes with George playing with a dinosaur toy.
