Chen Yi defends Lin's Pharmaceutical against Sun Weidong's attempts to sabotage their reputation and seize their medicinal fields. He cleverly exposes Sun Weidong's schemes and saves the company by proving their products are genuine. He is later appointed as the new village chief, a testament to his intelligence and contributions to the community.
