The carnival suddenly goes dark as a bouncing kangaroo steals all the lights. Blaze and his friends realize they need a way to see in the dark to catch the 'light thief'.

Blaze introduces brand new 'speed lights' that allow them to see in the dark. With their new gear, they are ready to pursue the kangaroo and get back the stolen lights.

Blaze's friends, also equipped with speed lights, join the chase. They decide to increase their energy to make their speed lights super bright, illuminating the entire carnival to find the hiding light thief.

By increasing their energy, they light up the carnival and successfully spot the kangaroo hiding near balloons. The thief then runs off, prompting them to increase their energy again to find her hiding in the popcorn.

The chase continues, with the kangaroo hiding near stuffed animals. Blaze and his friends persevere, finally catching the light thief, bringing joy and lights back to the carnival.
