Dream introduces the challenge: a Minecraft speedrun with a twist. Every minute, control of the speedrunner (Dream or Baablu) swaps, while two hunters (Faanst and BadBoyHalo) try to stop them. The first minutes are chaotic, with the speedrunners finding a village and a ruined portal. Hunters prevent the speedrunner from getting full loot and try to trap them, leading to an early swap.
After an initial swap, Baablu inherits resources but the hunters are close behind. They engage in a chase, with the speedrunner trying to utilize the environment to escape. The hunters, Faanst and BadBoyHalo, attempt to craft resources and secure food, realizing the speedrunner already looted key areas like a shipwreck.
The chase moves to the ocean, with the speedrunner using boats and dolphins to evade. The hunters find a ruined portal containing good loot, including a chestplate. BadBoyHalo attempts to get into the speedrunner's boat, leading to a surprise attack and near-death experience. The speedrunner reveals they have a bow, adding to the hunters' difficulties.
The speedrunners reach a mooshroom biome, gaining distance. The hunters decide to complete the ruined portal they found to get to the Nether faster. There's a moment of playful deception as the speedrunner suggests turning around, only to attack. The hunters manage to heal and plan their next moves.
The speedrunners enter the Nether, finding a bastion. Hunters Faanst and BadBoyHalo express frustration with the constant swaps and the speedrunner's ability to get resources quickly. They discuss communication between Dream and Baablu and share their annoyance with how the hotbar is organized.
The hunters catch up in the Nether. The speedrunner, now Dream, is in a blaze spawner for resources. The hunters use lava creatively, but the speedrunner has fire resistance. A series of close calls and strategic blocks occur. The hunters realize they need to be careful in open areas.
A critical sequence where the speedrunner manages to knock both hunters into lava, causing them to die. This significantly sets back the hunters. Later, the speedrunner sets up a fake water trap, successfully eliminating Faanst and then BadBoyHalo, further widening their lead.
With the hunters severely disadvantaged, the speedrunners enter the End dimension. The hunters realize the dire situation and rush to catch up. A frantic final battle ensues against the Ender Dragon, with the hunters still trying to interfere. Despite their efforts, the speedrunners defeat the Ender Dragon, winning the challenge.
