Doff PPE

First, remove the initial glove by turning it inside out. Use this glove to pinch the second glove, turn it inside out, and then dispose of both in the trash.

After removing gloves, perform hand hygiene using hand sanitizer or by washing hands thoroughly.

Remove goggles by pulling from behind the ears, tilting them off. Goggles should be placed in an area for wiping down and sterilization.

Grab the mask from behind the ears, pull it off, and then dispose of it in the trash.

Carefully untie the gown from the back, ensuring not to touch the front. Reach into the collar, turn it inside out, and roll it up. The gown can either be discarded or hung up for later use, if appropriate.
