Will converting SRT to VTT change my subtitles?
The converter preserves cue timing and multi-line text. It changes timestamps to WebVTT notation and adds the WEBVTT header.

Can I use this tool through an API?
Yes. The public API needs no key, accepts requests from other websites and returns JSON or Markdown. Requests are limited to 60 per 60 seconds per IP across the free tools, with a 512 KB request body limit.
