Luke struggles with a task, telling Yoda that it's different from moving stones. Yoda corrects him, stating that the only difference is in Luke's mind and that he must 'unlearn what you have learned.' He advises Luke to 'do or do not, there is no try.'
Luke expresses doubt about his ability to lift his X-wing, claiming it's too big. Yoda responds with his famous quote, 'Size matters not.' He tells Luke not to judge him by his size and explains that his ally is the Force, a powerful ally that creates life, makes it grow, and surrounds and binds everything.
Yoda clarifies that living beings are 'luminous beings, not this crude matter.' He instructs Luke to 'feel the Force around you, here, between you, me, the tree, the rock, everywhere, even between the land and the ship.'
Despite Yoda's explanations, Luke believes that lifting the X-wing is impossible. Yoda then proceeds to effortlessly lift the ship from the swamp using the Force, much to Luke's astonishment. Luke declares, 'I don't believe it,' to which Yoda replies, 'That is why you fail.'
