The Northern Barbarians, led by the Tiele people, launch a massive invasion. Li Yuan, now Fort Lieutenant, prepares for war. He uses his advanced knowledge to develop innovative military strategies, including digging specific trenches and using unexpected arrow tactics. His brilliance impresses General Bai Jing, who recognizes his strategic genius. Li Yuan discovers a deep-seated conspiracy within the palace, involving the Red Lotus Sect and high-ranking officials colluding with the Northern Barbarians. He unmasks the Emperor's eunuch as the true mastermind behind the plotting and betrayal. Demonstrating immense power and unwavering loyalty to his wives, Li Yuan defeats the conspirators. With the corrupt elements purged and his authority solidified, Li Yuan is eventually proclaimed Emperor. He establishes the Yuan Dynasty, an era of peace, prosperity, and vast territorial expansion, living a happy life with his many wives and children.
