The passenger explains they are going to see someone they haven't seen in a long time, an old friend of sorts, but doesn't expect to be remembered. They lament not having spent more time with this person, as they were 'forced to part ways' because they 'ran out of time' and 'had to go elsewhere'.
The passenger points out that the young man's bus has arrived. The young man thanks them and boards his bus. As the bus departs, the passenger appears to be a ghost, showing the young man was speaking to his deceased grandfather.
