MY GIFT TO MY PARENTS WAS SO WHACK THAT A CHRISTMAS MONSTER CAME TO MY HOUSE TO TEACH ME A LESSON
Summary
Highlights
The final game, "Santa Slays," places the player as a security guard working late at a mall on December 23rd, 1990. The objective is to complete various tasks while dealing with a creepy Santa mannequin that moves when not looked at, reminiscent of a 'weeping angel' scenario. The Santa becomes faster and more aggressive as tasks are completed.
The game becomes increasingly difficult as the Santa mannequin teleports and chases the player at high speeds. The player struggles to complete the last tasks, with Santa constantly appearing in unexpected places, leading to multiple frustrating attempts and eventual failure.
The player starts a game called "The Christmas Incident." The character initially receives a car for Christmas but then gives their parents a drawing, which they clearly dislike. Soon after, strange events begin, with the character seeing a monster and struggling to convince their skeptical parents.
The player's character sees a monster outside the window, but the father dismisses it as imagination. The character then plays with their new car, in an imagination sequence, which turns into a difficult mini-game avoiding collisions on a highway.
After the minigame, the character tries to sleep, leading to multiple jump scares. The monster then attacks the parents, resulting in the father losing a leg. The child attempts to hide from the monster, eventually being caught and seemingly killed.
The player moves on to a new game, "Unwanted Visit," where they must summon Santa Claus by decorating a tree and lighting candles according to instructions. This game is a sequel to a previous Christmas horror game the player reviewed.
After lighting the candles and waiting, a terrifying Santa Claus appears. The player must then run towards the fire (which Santa cannot tolerate) to escape him and destroy the candles to end the ritual.
