Baby Shark suggests Hank try cooking, which results in a messy and unsuccessful attempt at making fruity Shellington. Next, they encourage him to try comedy, but Hank's jokes fall flat, and his prop comedy is a disaster. Goldie then suggests rodeo riding, which also ends chaotically when he tries to ride a slobber slug.

Discouraged, Hank believes he doesn't belong in Fort Fin-ship. However, Baby Shark observes that Hank has been blowing bubbles all day whenever he's sad, realizing that bubbles are Hank's "thing." The friends surprise Hank with a bubble ball pit for his nook, which he enthusiastically fills with his bubbles.

The family hears a strange, annoying noise. They eventually discover it's a persistent water bug that has gotten into their house. They try various methods to get rid of it, but the bug keeps returning, causing chaos and disrupting their peace.

Frustrated with the water bug's return, the family seeks advice from Big Fin, an expert tracker. Big Fin explains that water bugs love water berries and, surprisingly, family. They strategize to use water berries as bait in a trap.

The family successfully traps the water bug and releases it outside. They finally enjoy a moment of peace and quiet, appreciating the chance to relax and reflect. However, their tranquility is short-lived as the water bug returns once more.

The family is about to give up when they notice the water bug interacting with their family portrait, reminding them of Big Fin's earlier comment about water bugs loving family. They realize the water bug simply wants to be part of their family, just like a wise fishy once said, "to solve a problem, you should find out what caused it in the first place."

The family decides to help the water bug find its own family. They build a new, smaller home for it in the forest, hoping it will attract a water bug family. Their plan works, and the water bug finds its family, bringing peace back to the shark family home.

Baby Shark gathers his friends, William, Chuck, Goldie, and Hank, to build a clubhouse they name "Fort Fin-ship." Each friend is excited to decorate their own personalized nook within the fort.
