Highlights
Ollie and his friends, Bernie and Cleo, find themselves at a spooky house. Ollie initially resists, thinking it's just for cheap scares, but is convinced to enter when promised full candy bars by a kid. The group deliberates whether to enter the house, using the presence of a jack o'lantern as justification for trick-or-treating.
Inside, the friends encounter spooky decor. Bernie warns them about the 'horrorable haunted house on Fort Sill Hill' and the legend of the 'Spoopy One,' a creepy figure who paints victims as cats before snatching them. Ollie remains skeptical, more concerned with finding candy than being scared.
Despite Ollie's disbelief, Bernie is suddenly snatched away, leaving Ollie and Cleo to search for him. Ollie, still focused on candy, instructs Cleo to look for 'lawnies' and assumes Bernie is fine. Soon after, Cleo also disappears with a scream, leaving her candy bag behind. Ollie is annoyed by the inconvenience of carrying her candy.
Ollie and the remaining friend, CW, try to maintain their composure amidst the increasingly intense scares. They encounter a mysterious figure who appears to be the 'Spoopy One.' Ollie, still focused on getting candy, attempts to demand his treats, but CW realizes the gravity of their situation.
CW, recognizing the real danger, urges Ollie to run. Ollie, however, remains fixated on the traditional Halloween agreement for candy, seemingly oblivious to the immediate threat. They flee from the house, realizing it's more than just a typical haunted house.
