Highlights
The protagonist, Qin Chen, finds himself in a parallel world called Dazhao after a mysterious accident. He learns he is the scion of the wealthy Qin family and inherits a phone that grants him immense internal strength and martial arts skills, including a powerful pistol and specific sword techniques like "Sweet Bok Kwang" and "Windy Sword Technique." He quickly encounters trouble when he intervenes in a street incident involving General An Yuan, revealing his newfound abilities. Qin Chen handles the situation with wit, earning respect and a connection with General An Yuan.
Qin Chen, now alone after his family's passing, decides to hire servants to manage his large estate. He visits a slave market and, impressed by their demeanor, purchases a Silla maid, Shiyan, and two sisters, Qingmeng and Qingxuan, who were formerly ladies of the court. He treats them with unusual kindness, allowing them to keep their names and eat with him. Soon after, he has an unexpected encounter with Princess Yunshu, who, disguised as a man, faints outside his home. He treats her injuries, which leads to her developing romantic feelings toward him, much to his exasperation and General An Yuan's bemusement.
Princess Yunshu, impressed by Qin Chen's healing abilities, brings him to the palace to treat her ailing mother, the Empress. Despite Qin Chen's initial reluctance and admission of limited medical knowledge for diseases, he offers his internal strength to alleviate the Empress's pain. This act, combined with a miraculous elixir (found through his phone), fully cures the Empress's chronic illness. As a reward, the Emperor bestows upon Qin Chen the title of Marquis of Anguo and betroths Princess Yunshu to him, much to the initial dismay of the court's traditionalists.
Qin Chen, now Marquis of Anguo, explores his magical phone further, discovering additional cultivation techniques and new crops. He reveals to the Emperor that he possesses the seeds of new, high-yield grains like sweet potatoes, potatoes, and corn—crops that could revolutionize Dazhao's agriculture. He uses this knowledge to negotiate the difficult divorce of Princess Ling Shi from her husband, a marriage plagued by hereditary health issues. As a result, the Emperor not only agrees to the divorce but also arranges for Princess Ling Shi to marry Qin Chen alongside Princess Yunshu, in an unprecedented double wedding. This leads to him being elevated to the rank of King of the Free County. The story culminates in Qin Chen embracing his role as a powerful and benevolent figure, preparing for his grand wedding and a life of adventure with his two princesses.
As the wedding day approaches, Qin Chen moves into a new, larger mansion bestowed by the Emperor. He orchestrates an unforgettable ceremony, utilizing his magical powers to create stunning visual effects, such as a flying gourd carrying Princess Tuanzi and a grand procession led by a colorful cloud. His unique approach to the wedding, including exotic foods and personalized gifts, captivates the entire capital. The princesses, Ling Shi and Yunshu, are thrilled with their husband's extraordinary capabilities and look forward to a future filled with wonder and adventure. Qin Chen, now married to both princesses, contemplates venturing beyond Dazhao to explore the world and the mysteries of the heavens, promising his wives a life of unparalleled splendor and freedom.
