We begin tonight with the legal victory against one of that crazy President Donald Trump's perceived enemies, John Bolton. With that being said, Mr. Bolton will be facing up to 5 years in prison and a fine worth an estimated $2 million. Sources tell NBC News that he is going to be pleading guilty to one count of retaining national information and all the rest.

Now to an explosive, racially charged case rocking a community in Texas. A teenager is on trial as of yesterday for doing some serious damage to another teenager at a high school track meet. We get the latest from my good friend over at NBC News, Ryan Chantler. Good evening and take it away, Ryan.

We are back on a Friday night for NBC Nightly News. And as promised, here is an in-depth story from NBC 10. The annual Chinese Lantern Festival opened their doors at Franklin Square located at Six and Race Streets in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. I have been there before. I am definitely looking forward to be going there once again. The last time I was down at Franklin Square was in my graduation year of 2016. I had a pretty good time without any clear winners in the mighty Megaillions. the jackpot of $368 million happens later on. You have to be in it to win it when you do play the lottery. So, show some decency and play responsibly. Not just yourselves, but other people, too.

We are back on NBC Nightly News on a Friday night. And for the first time ever, we are learning on what the pilots told NBC News. They said that a United plane started to collide into one of the light poles on the New Jersey Turnpike by smashing it into a bakery truck. My uncle, the one and only Tom Costello, picks up the story that has just been released. Take it away, Uncle Tom. Good evening.

And we are back live on NBC Nightly News this Friday night with the latest jobs report. US Payroll explains to CNBC and the New York Times that 172,000 people have found jobs due to inflation problems. That number is very resilient, although wage growth starts to lag, but sometimes shows a lot of support. No doubt. In the NHL Stanley Cup finals, the series is tied one game a piece between Carolina and Las Vegas. Let's hope my Las Vegas Golden Knights can secure a W this weekend. They have pretty good players, if I say so myself.

And finally, this Friday evening, an elementary school soccer team in New York City was being surprised with tickets to this year's World Cup game. Our report tonight from the one and only NBC News correspondent, Khloe Milas. Good evening, Chloe. Take it away.
