Highlights
Lu Changzhi finds himself in a new body, that of a master in the Five Elephants Sect. He soon discovers a 'divine apprentice system' that promises power proportional to his disciples' strength. His first mission: recruit Gu Qingcheng, a talented but seemingly 'low-grade' disciple, as his apprentice.
Despite initial misunderstandings and a flirtatious gesture, Gu Qingcheng accepts Lu Changzhi as her master. The system rewards Lu Changzhi with a divine-grade marrow cleansing pill, which he then gives to Gu Qingcheng, much to the disbelief of rival sect members, especially Wang Yan of the Xuan Yi Sect.
Gu Qingcheng's diligence in signing in brings Lu Changzhi the 'Divine Enlightenment Tree,' which can significantly boost cultivation. He instructs her to plant it, initially appearing lazy but secretly aware of its power. He also acquires a 'Divine Beast Chongming Bird,' whom he affectionately names Xiaoming, claiming it's just a chicken, to the amusement of his disciples.
Lu Changzhi encounters Luo Ling'er, a powerful warrior from the God of Cookery system. He takes her as his second disciple, despite her believing he intends to use her for dual cultivation. The system rewards him with a divine recipe, and Luo Ling'er's cooking abilities are shown to dramatically increase cultivation.
The system prompts Lu Changzhi to recruit Mu Qingxue, who possesses a 'hangman system.' She is initially thought to be a 'trash' disciple, but after being injured and consuming Luo Ling'er's food, she awakens the Green Luan Sacred Body, drastically improving her cultivation speed.
The Five Elephants Sect holds its Four Peaks Competition. Wang Yan of the Xuan Yi Sect tries to sabotage it, but Lu Changzhi's disciples, using their unique abilities and divine artifacts (disguised as common items like a broom and a cooking pot), defeat their opponents, much to Wang Yan's chagrin and the Five Elephants Sect's surprise.
Wang Yan tries to uncover the legendary treasures of Yuan Yin Peak, Lu Changzhi's domain, but finds nothing except some ordinary-looking items and a 'chicken' (Xiaoming, the Chongming Bird), further underestimating Lu Changzhi's true power and the potential of his disciples.
Lu Changzhi travels to the Flower Spirit Sect to recruit Liu Qingqing, who has a 'Beast System.' He inadvertently gets involved in a political discussion between several sects. His presence, combined with misunderstandings about his intentions regarding Liu Qingqing, highlights his hidden strength and draws attention from other sect leaders.
Lu Changzhi reveals his true cultivation, reaching the peak of the Harmonization Stage, shocking other sect masters who believed him to be a weakling. He continues to gather disciples, including Liu Qingqing, and solidify alliances, much to the dismay of rival sects like the Xuan Yi Sect.
Lu Changzhi is tasked with recruiting Qin Yueli, the Holy Maiden of the Demon Sect, as his final disciple. He uses his newfound conceptual powers to defeat her in a rigged betting game, compelling her to become his disciple and leading to the withdrawal of the Demon Sect's attack on the Five Elephants Sect.
At the Five Sect Competition, Lu Changzhi's disciples, and his overwhelming hidden power, are fully revealed. He easily defeats the plot of the Xuan Yi Sect and the Cloud Sky Holy Land's Ancestor, ascending to the rank of Immortal King. He then appoints his five disciples as empresses, acknowledging their unique powers and contributions, and the Five Elephants Sect rises to become the continent's top clan.
