Balloon, as a previous winner, demands a prize. MePhone 4 explains that Balloon and Lightbulb's earlier jump into the safe zone means they get to pick the teams, with Lightbulb choosing first because he entered the water before Balloon.
Lightbulb starts by picking Nickel, who appreciates the decision. Later, Lightbulb, advised by Nickel, chooses Knife for his strength, much to Knife's approval. Lightbulb then adds Marshmallow to their team.
Balloon initially picks Pickle, who is excited to be chosen. Despite Balloon's desire for 'useful' teammates, Pickle recruits Taco. Balloon then chooses OJ. The team eventually picks Bomb and, after some debate, Paper. Salt eventually joins them after being picked by Pepper.
MePhone 4 gives each team one minute to choose a name. Lightbulb's team quickly decides on "Team Epic." Balloon's team, due to Taco's suggestion, is controversially named "Team Chicken Leg," much to Balloon's dismay.
With the teams now officially formed and named, MePhone 4 announces that they can move on to the next challenge, to the relief of some contestants like Nickel.
