Guided by his fragmented memories and the assistance of a medical student, Sunita, Sanjay tracks Ghajini to his hideout. A violent confrontation ensues, during which Sanjay, despite his memory loss, manages to defeat Ghajini, avenging Kalpana's death.
Even after his revenge, Sanjay's memories of Kalpana remain strongest. The film concludes with Sanjay visiting an orphanage, reflecting Kalpana’s helping nature, and finding a measure of peace through contributing to a cause she cared deeply about.
Kalpana's compassionate nature leads her to expose a human trafficking ring. This act puts her in direct confrontation with Ghajini Dharmatma, the ruthless leader of the syndicate. She discovers his crimes and decides to report him.
