Highlights
Ryan gets to meet a hedgehog and learns that they are from Africa and use their sense of smell to navigate because they have poor eyesight. He also learns they can lick things they like.
Next, Ryan meets a baby ring-tailed lemur named Mimsie. He's told to be quiet because lemurs have excellent hearing and can be scared by loud noises. He learns lemurs are from Madagascar and can be gently petted.
Ryan then encounters a skunk, which is introduced as the only animal from Texas. He's allowed to hold the skunk and finds that it is very soft and friendly.
Ryan meets a kinkajou named Minky. He learns that kinkajous are nocturnal animals from the Amazon rainforest and use their prehensile tail to hang from tree branches. Their diet consists mainly of fruits and leaves.
A fennec fox named Titus is introduced. Ryan learns that fennec foxes have large ears to hear bugs underground and to keep cool in the desert heat. They can also go a month without water.
Ryan gets to feed a toucan named Mango. He learns that toucans use their long beaks to reach food in tree holes and that they have incredibly good eyesight.
Ryan meets an African genet, an animal that resembles a cat. He learns that animals with long tails use them for balance.
Finally, Ryan meets a kangaroo. He learns that kangaroos move their legs together when hopping, use their tail as an extra limb for balance, and that their hopping helps their heart pump and aids in breathing.
Ryan and his companion reflect on their favorite animals from the unique experience, with Ryan choosing the kangaroo and his friend choosing the kinkajou.
