Nokia's Comeback: Lawsuits, Drake, and Retro Gaming

Nokia sued Amazon in 2021 for allegedly violating a patent on video streaming technology used for Twitch and live streams. Amazon counter-sued Nokia regarding cloud service patents. They reached an agreement on March 31st to cease fire on both sides.

Drake's new song features a snake, potentially referencing Kendrick Lamar and some believe this is a connection to Nokia's classic game, Snake. Nokia's stock slightly rose, possibly influenced by this.

Nokia is partnering with Low Tech Games to get back into the gaming world. Low Tech Games creates retro-inspired games, even developing new games for older systems like the NES. This partnership includes creating games for the Nokia's old console, the N-Gage. The new game 'Parasite Pack' is compatible with the N-Gage, Nintendo Switch, PS4 and Xbox.
