Highlights
The movie introduces Janno Gibbs and Andrew E. as a comedic pair. Janno, claiming to be a 'dakilang mambubulog' (great fraudster), showcases his street smarts and ability to con people. He claims to know all 'styles,' including French, Japanese, and Indian, emphasizing his deceptive skills. He plans to go to Manila, believing his future is there, as advised by his grandfather.
Janno and his friend find themselves in a comical situation involving a woman named Pasing. They are confronted by what they believe are police officers. Janno tries to use his charm to avoid trouble, but they are eventually exposed as fake police officers attempting to extort money. After a hilarious chase, Janno manages to escape, but his money is taken by the imposters.
Janno, now hungry and thirsty, attempts to get free water from a police officer. He is directed to a fountain, but to his dismay, it turns out to be a urinating man. This leads to a funny confrontation and Janno's friend is mistaken for a 'bad spirit' by a passerby, resulting in a comical exorcism attempt.
Janno's friend, after the 'exorcism,' claims to be cured and begins to offer dubious remedies to others. Janno, capitalizing on this, sells a 'magic potion' to a woman who wants to be taller, promising that she will grow if she drinks it while blindfolded, leading to a ridiculous outcome where she misinterprets its effects.
Janno attempts to sell a love charm ('gayuma') to a man. He uses a woman named Valentine as a demonstration subject, who then becomes infatuated with the man. The situation escalates when Valentine's husband appears, forcing Janno and the man to flee in a comic disguise.
Janno's friend receives a suspicious call, where a voice impersonates his boss and instructs him to retrieve money and jewelry from a cabinet. Janno realizes it's a scam when his actual boss is present. They are then confronted by real police officers who expose the fake police, leading to their arrest. Janno later encounters the fake police again and confronts them about the stolen money.
Janno and his friend, now desperate for food, attempt to discreetly eat a meal prepared for them, but it turns out to be just rice. They then try to get food from a street vendor, resulting in a comical chase and a confrontation with a street sweeper over a discarded, presumably spoiled, Noodle. They end up eating it despite its foul smell, causing them to get sick.
Janno and his friend get into a hilarious argument with a fish vendor over prices and then go to a car wash. Meanwhile, two girls, Girly and Shirley, are enjoying themselves when they are suddenly kidnapped. Their father, Don Segundo, receives a ransom call demanding 20 million for their release. He tries to negotiate, and the kidnapper, Mr. X, gives him time to raise the money.
An NBI agent, sent by Senor Chavez, assures Don Segundo that they will handle the kidnapping case. Mr. X calls again, expressing dissatisfaction with a 5 million offer, eventually agreeing to 10 million for the ransom. Don Segundo manages to gather the money with his wife's savings, hoping to rescue his daughters.
Moments before the ransom exchange, the girls, Girly and Shirley, attempt to escape. At the exchange point, Don Segundo and his wife arrive with the money. The kidnappers demand the money before showing the girls, but the NBI agents intervene. A chaotic chase ensues, and the money bag, containing 10 million pesos, ends up in Janno's friend's pickup truck, who then flees the scene.
Janno and his friend discuss their newfound wealth. News spreads that the 10 million ransom could not be retrieved, and whoever found it is considered lucky. Janno and his friend start enjoying their money, buying luxuries like a new car. Don Segundo, grateful for the girls' return, organizes a celebration. Janno and his friend, disguised as dignitaries, attend the party.
The original kidnappers, led by Carmen, expose themselves at the party, revealing that she orchestrated the first kidnapping and is seeking the remaining 10 million, which Janno and his friend now possess. She demands the full 20 million for releasing Girly and Shirley, stating that the first 10 million was a waste. Janno and his friend, who were not involved in the second kidnapping, discuss their options.
Janno and his friend, now known as 'Gadget Boys', launch a rescue mission. They enter the kidnappers' lair, where Girly and Shirley are held captive. A series of comical fights and confrontations ensue as Janno and his friend demonstrate their unique fighting styles, using everyday objects as weapons. They eventually overpower the kidnappers and secure the safety of the girls.
After the chaotic rescue, Janno and his friend reconcile with the girls and restore their friendship. The movie ends with a humorous romantic scene between Janno and one of the girls, hinting at a happy ending for everyone.
