Tom Holloway, voiced through a voice box, introduces himself as a sheriff, expressing a desire to join a 'posse' while also singing a song. He is quickly greeted by Alicia, who enthusiastically welcomes him, calling him a 'sheriff' and offering him coffee before rushing off to the bathroom.
Tom tries to understand his surroundings, asking for his location, but is repeatedly shushed by a character named Grapefruit, who is dedicated to staying in character. Other toys, Andy and Sticks, introduce themselves and explain that they do a lot of improv. Sticks adds to Tom's confusion by suggesting they are either in a Parisian cafe or a New Jersey coffee shop.
Alicia returns, offering lunch with a 'secret ingredient' – jelly beans. When Tom, using his voice box, declares 'Somebody's poisoned the water hole,' Alicia dramatically reacts, spitting a jelly bean at Grapefruit. She then spots Bay Head, whom she perceives as a 'scary witch', and proceeds to hide herself and the other toys in a box to escape the witch's 'witchy powers'.
Bay Head finds them, prompting Alicia to scream and search for a 'spaceship' to escape. Tom, still confused, desperately asks how to get out, to which Andy jokingly replies, 'THERE IS NO WAY OUT!' before pointing to the door. Bay Head introduces herself and questions Tom's name, suggesting he change it in this new environment.
Tom accidentally bumps into George, Dirk, and Percy, who question if he's a real businessman, noting his lack of a tie. Alicia then dramatically re-enters with her 'spaceship', initiating a mock blast-off. Tom Holloway, Andy, Sticks, and Grapefruit land on Alicia's bed. Alicia calls Tom her hero, praising him for 'saving' them, and Tom smiles, finding joy in being played with after a long time, receiving a wink from Andy.
