Gru gives some classic Gru-style encouragement to his Minions, telling them they have to "break a few eggs to make an omelet" and then sarcastically praises Ryan. He also asks about their families.
Gru suggests playing the "quiet game" and then dismisses his Minions, emphasizing that tomorrow is the biggest day of his life and he needs to rest.
As Gru tries to sleep, the Minions play loudly in his room. He tells them he needs a good night's sleep and to get out.
Gru reluctantly allows a Minion to stay, citing a false nightmare as the reason. Another Minion, Kevin, comes in and Gru invites him to sleep on the bed with him, despite his earlier protests.
