Summary
Highlights
Dr. Doofenshmirtz greets Perry the Platypus and introduces his new inventions: the Slow-Motion-inator, designed to make Perry too slow to interfere, and the Ugly-inator. He explains that he developed the Ugly-inator out of envy, aiming to make everyone else as unattractive as he perceives himself to be.
Doofenshmirtz decides to demonstrate his Ugly-inator on the handsome movie actor Vance Ward. Despite Vance Ward's confusion and lack of a script, Doofenshmirtz fires the Ugly-inator, successfully turning a horrified Vance Ward ugly. Doofenshmirtz then announces his plan to turn the entire tri-state area ugly from the comfort of his living room.
Perry the Platypus breaks free and targets the Slow-Motion-inator. Doofenshmirtz warns Perry not to touch the reverse switch. However, Perry uses an autographed picture of Vance Ward to reflect the Ugly-inator's beam, accidentally causing Doofenshmirtz to turn himself ugly. Doofenshmirtz realizes his own invention has backfired and is horrified by his appearance.
Despite his initial anger, Doofenshmirtz acknowledges the irony of his plan, then demands to be released from the now-ugly state. Perry the Platypus makes his escape, leaving Doofenshmirtz to lament the loss of his TV and chair, and once again curse Perry for thwarting his plans.
