The FS-Live software suite connects remote pathologists to a networked base station for real-time diagnosis of biopsies, frozen sections, and cytology via PC.

Introduction to Motic and Digital Pathology00:00:13

Motic introduces its history in light microscopy and digital camera technology, explaining the development of scanning solutions to meet recent pathology demands for fast production of digital image data.

EasyScan Scanner Models00:02:00

Motic offers three main models: the EasyScan One for small labs, the EasyScan Pro for midsized clinics, and the Infinity models for high-capacity automatic work overnight.

Technical Specifications00:02:08

All models feature High-End Plan Apochromatic objectives, a 5MP CMOS camera, and a 3-fold nosepiece, offering quality images from basic to high precision in EDF and z-stack formats.

Load Capacities and Hardware Details00:03:12

The EasyScan One holds one slide; the EasyScan Pro holds six; the Infinity models hold 60 or 102 slides, with the Infinity series featuring a backfeed system for continuous work with manual refill.

Tray Systems and Slide Formats00:04:08

The scanners use trays of varying capacities and standard 76mm X 26mm glass slides, with optional software available for bigger-sized slides (50mm X 76mm).

Scanning Modes00:05:35

The scanners offer Normal mode for flat sections, High Precision mode for wavy specimens, EDF mode for thick specimens, and Z-stack mode for creating 3D images.
