Highlights
Johnny Test and his dog, Dukey, are abducted by meat-loving aliens called 'Ribeye Knights'. They mistake Johnny for 'the chosen one' who previously defeated Dark Vegan and want his help to protect their meat planet, Sirloin, from Dark Vegan's plan to destroy all meat. The Ribeye Knights try to train Johnny, but his lack of skill frustrates them, leading them to use a projector to temporarily give him Ribeye Knight powers.
Dark Vegan arrives to destroy Planet Sirloin. Johnny, empowered by the projector, confronts him on his deathcraft. Johnny's sisters also make an appearance, confused by his newfound powers. Johnny uses his 'John-I Knight' abilities, including a 'Piñata Gauntlet' attack, to fight Dark Vegan. He discovers Dark Vegan's true motivation: to create perfect toast, which Johnny helps him achieve, ending the conflict.
Johnny discovers his 'Super Smarty Pants', which he had previously sealed away. The pants make him extremely intelligent, allowing him to answer complex questions and solve a long-unsolved equation at school. His sisters are alarmed by his newfound genius and attempt to remove the pants through various scientific and less-than-scientific methods, like trapping him, using a laser, and shrinking the pants.
Johnny's sisters realize that a part of his brain remains uncorrupted by the pants. They enlist Dukey, Johnny's loyal dog, to appeal to his core self. Dukey reminds Johnny of their shared past adventures and their strong bond, breaking the pants' brainwashing. Johnny breaks free, and the sisters use a special vacuum to trap the smarty pants, then launch them to the moon.
Johnny's mom gives him a ridiculous-looking, oversized winter jacket. Simultaneously, his sisters are tasked by the General to create a 'Suburban Weapon' to protect the public from alien robot attacks. Johnny's overcoat is chosen as the perfect disguise, containing hidden weaponry. Johnny initially hates the jacket but discovers its cool combat functions when it's activated.
Alien robots, seeking revenge on Johnny for past events, attack. The General realizes the jacket is the only defense but it's too small for him. Johnny, wearing the highly weaponized jacket, confronts the robots. With his sisters' help via the jacket's verbal command mode, he learns to use its various functions, like 'battle mode' and 'blaster mode', to defend himself and defeat the robots.
Johnny's sisters invent 'Giant Metamorphic Super Arms' to give him the strength of 100 men. Johnny, however, is more interested in a 'Super Key' that can open any lock. After using the super arms to rescue a baby from a burning building, the mayor gives Johnny a ceremonial 'Key to the City', which disappoints him because it doesn't actually open anything.
The sisters develop the 'X Key' which can open any lock. Johnny immediately uses it to retrieve his confiscated items, then to sneak into an amusement park. Soon, the entire town discovers the key and a mob chases Johnny and Dukey to steal it. They hide in a secret government base, but accidentally release a robot designed to destroy the sisters' lab.
The robot, Task One, heads to Johnny's house to destroy the lab, where his dad is currently working. Johnny and his sisters try various inventions to stop the robot, including Johnny's super arms, but none work. Johnny eventually uses the X Key to open a panel on the robot's neck, activating a 'turbo sleep mode', saving his dad and the lab. The key is then taken to be destroyed.
Johnny's sisters are annoyed he keeps 'borrowing' their inventions. They invent the 'Mouth of Truth 3000', a device that forces the user to tell the truth, and test it on Johnny. However, it malfunctions, creating a 'second mouth' for Johnny that only speaks the truth, while his original mouth continues to lie, causing confusion and discomfort.
The 'truth mouth' causes Johnny to expose the truth about an expensive artwork, leading the buyer to back out. He then helps release caged animals from the zoo, much to the dismay of Pork Belly residents and authorities. The sisters try to repair the device, but Two-Mouth Johnny continues to wreak havoc by speaking uncomfortable truths, causing widespread chaos.
Two-Mouth Johnny criticizes a woman's shoes, leading to a fight. The sisters manage to shut off the 'truth mouth'. However, the townspeople are still angry about the chaos. Johnny, using his newfound ability to speak both truth and lies, convinces the townspeople to embrace their own opinions, defusing the situation and restoring peace to Pork Belly.
The sisters decide a brain swap is necessary for Susan to inhabit Johnny's body and accept the award, as Johnny's lack of scientific interest would be suspicious. Despite Johnny's protests, they use a 'Johnny coupon' to force him into the swap. Johnny (in Susan's body) and Susan (in Johnny's body) deal with the challenges and awkwardness of their new forms.
Eugene, a villain obsessed with Susan, attacks, attempting to capture Susan's body (now inhabited by Johnny). The sisters prioritize getting to the award ceremony. While Eugene mistakes Johnny (in Susan's body) for Susan, the real Susan (in Johnny's body) tries to convince him it's Johnny by revealing Eugene's secret love for unicorns.
At the award ceremony, the MOSO board praises their \"male\" inventor. Eugene arrives and exposes the brain swap, revealing that a girl actually invented the Solara bike. This sparks a debate about gender bias in science. Johnny, in Susan's body, and Susan, in Johnny's body, argue that achievement, not gender, should be rewarded, leading the MOSO board to change their exclusionary rules.
Johnny's sisters receive a letter from the 'Men Folk of Science Only' (MOSO) organization, informing them they won an award for their solar-powered bicycle. However, the contest was only for male scientists, so they entered using Johnny's name. They pressure Johnny to pretend he invented it to claim the prize money.
