Deepak and Preeti, after leaving their home, try to gain control of Deepak’s family property. However, Deepak’s deceased father had already arranged the property in a way that prevented this. They consult a tantric, who warns them against performing black magic on the family home while the father’s spirit is still present, advising them to wait two months until the elder sister-in-law's birthday.

Deepak and Preeti continue to plot, wanting to cancel the will and get the property for themselves. Their children, Kshitez and Payal, are unaware of the family disputes. At a fair, Kshitez insists on not riding a specific Ferris wheel compartment, claiming his grandfather warned him. Shortly after, that exact compartment breaks and dangles mid-air. Deepak and Preeti, witnessing the horrific accident from a safe distance, realize their children were miraculously saved. Kshitez then reveals to his father that his grandfather appeared to him and warned him not to get on the faulty compartment. Deepak and Preeti become terrified, realizing the presence of Deepak's father.

Back home, Kshitez and Payal continue to interact with their grandfather, who is now visible to them. Deepak and Preeti are terrified and call the tantric, who is initially unreachable. When they finally connect, the tantric tells them that Deepak's father is not a ghost but a protective ancestral spirit. However, Deepak and Preeti, misunderstanding the situation, ask the tantric to remove this spirit. The tantric prepares a dark magic item for them, which they place in their home, unknowingly inviting a malevolent entity.

Later that night, Kshitez wakes up to use the restroom and sees a strange, human-faced animal in the hallway before it retreats into Deepak and Preeti's room. Payal also screams, having seen a massive lizard-like creature on the wall. Deepak and Preeti then witness the terrifying entity themselves. They realize it's the entity from the tantric, and are now scared of it. They begin to sleep together with their children for safety.

The entity continues to appear nightly, terrifying Deepak. The next morning, Deepak goes to work. Preeti, left alone, experiences strange occurrences like the TV turning on by itself and dishes falling. Overwhelmed and seeking answers, she attempts to communicate with the entity. Simultaneously, Deepak falls from the fourth floor of his office building. However, he is miraculously saved by his father's spirit, who seemingly pushes him onto a truck filled with mattresses. Unharmed, Deepak realizes his grave errors and regrets his actions, especially having insulted his father.

Deepak and Preeti return home, full of remorse. They confess everything to Deepak's older brother, sister-in-law, and mother, admitting their jealousy, their attempts at black magic, and the father's protective actions. They explain the entity now haunting their home. The family, particularly the older brother, shows immense compassion. Deepak begs for forgiveness, holding his father's picture and crying. The family agrees to help them, and they decide to move back together. They arrange for a purification ritual in their old home to remove the malevolent entity.

Deepak and Preeti reveal that their father's spirit still visits them annually, appearing clearly during the month of Shraddha. While they cherish these visits, the narrator warns that keeping spirits bound to the earthly realm can be dangerous. He explains that such benevolent spirits, if not allowed to move on, can be exploited by black magic practitioners for malicious purposes.
