Highlights
Chicken Licken is hit on the head by an acorn, leading him to believe the sky is falling. He decides he must go and tell the king about this imminent disaster.
As Chicken Licken rushes to see the king, he encounters Henny Penny, Ducky Lucky, Goosey Lucy, Turkey Lurkey, Drakey Lakey, and Cocky Locky. Each of them, upon hearing his urgent news, decides to join him on his quest to inform the king.
The group of animals meets Foxy Loxy, who feigns concern and offers them a "shortcut" through a dark cave in the mountain to reach the palace faster. Chicken Licken, despite a bad feeling, leads his friends into the cave.
Inside the cave, Chicken Licken realizes they are in the fox's den. He quickly alerts his friends, and they all run out of the cave as fast as they can, narrowly escaping Foxy Loxy's attempt to gobble them up.
After their narrow escape, the animals stop running and realize they can no longer remember why they were going to see the king. They decide to all go home, having forgotten about the "falling sky."
