Highlights
Chris and Joy skip school and visit a skateboard park. Chris is impressed by Pierce and his team, the 'Skateboard Maniacs', who use nitro blasters on their skateboards. Joy, however, is concerned by Pierce's dangerous behavior, but Chris is drawn to him.
Superbook transports Chris, Joy, and Gizmo to an ancient land. They meet Noah, who is commanded by God to build an enormous ark to save his family and two of every animal from an impending flood that will destroy all living things on Earth due to mankind's wickedness.
Noah, with the help of his family, constructs the massive ark. Despite initial skepticism from Gizmo and no signs of rain, Noah remains steadfast in his faith. Animals from all species begin to arrive at the ark, guided by God, and are meticulously loaded aboard.
Once all creatures are loaded, God seals the ark. The heavens open, unleashing a torrential downpour that engulfs the earth. Chris and Joy witness the devastating power of the flood and come to realize the seriousness of the situation.
During the long days on the ark, Chris reflects on his desire to be like Pierce and the people outside the ark who ignored God's will. Noah explains that people turn to evil and lose everything, but God does not abandon those who try to live for Him.
After 40 days and nights of rain, God remembers Noah and sends a wind to dry the earth. The ark rests on the mountains of Ararat. After a raven and a dove are sent out, the dove returns with an olive branch, signaling dry land. Eventually, Noah and all the creatures leave the ark, and God establishes a covenant with mankind, promising never to destroy all life by flood again, symbolized by the rainbow.
Superbook returns Chris and Joy to their present time. Chris rejects Pierce's invitation to join the 'Skateboard Maniacs,' choosing a path of righteousness. He realizes the importance of making good choices and listening to his conscience.
