Summary
The Use of Digital Resources to Enhance Literacy
Highlights
This research investigates the influence of new digital technologies on the literacy development of students facing learning difficulties. The core problem identified is the insufficient implementation of these technologies and the disparity in access within schools. The primary objective was to analyze the transformative role of digital tools in education, assessing both the opportunities and the challenges they present.
A mixed-methods approach was employed, incorporating bibliographic research alongside field data analysis. The study utilized graphs to illustrate teachers' perspectives on the effectiveness of digital technologies in literacy instruction.
The most significant findings reveal that a majority of teachers acknowledge an increase in student engagement and motivation when digital technologies are used. However, persistent obstacles include a lack of adequate infrastructure and insufficient teacher training. Despite the significant potential of digital technologies to improve literacy and personalize teaching, their full benefits are contingent upon sustained investments and collaborative efforts among schools, governments, and society.
The research contributes by proposing solutions for more inclusive teaching practices, specifically tailored to the individual needs of students, especially those encountering greater barriers in their learning journey.
