Dr. Robotnik is frustrated with his robotic henchmen for their inability to catch Sonic. Suddenly, Wes Weasley, a fast-talking salesman from 'Handy Dandy Super Villain Appliance Distributors Limited' (HDSVADL), introduces himself, offering solutions to Robotnik's 'Sonic problem'.
Wes presents the 'Darkenator', a device that eliminates all light, claiming Sonic will slow down in the dark. Robotnik purchases it, but during its use, his henchmen can't see, allowing Sonic to evade capture easily. The device then breaks, and Weasley dismisses the failure as 'tampering'.
Wes then offers the 'Freeze Banger', which shoots a blast to freeze targets. Sonic, however, uses the frozen environment to his advantage, causing Robotnik's henchmen to melt after Sonic warms them up for a 'snap'. This leads to more frustration for Robotnik.
Despite his previous failures, Weasley introduces his latest invention, the 'Super Duper Gravity Stuffer', designed to eliminate gravity and friction, thus slowing Sonic. He demonstrates it using the henchmen, who are sent floating. Robotnik, though skeptical, decides to purchase it along with 'self-gravity boots'.
Sonic and Tails are taking a break when Robotnik activates the Gravity Stuffer. Sonic is initially affected by the altered gravity, but quickly adapts, using the lack of friction to his advantage, much to Robotnik's dismay.
